Official Opening of the James Coleman Enterprise & Conference Centre - Click for larger version On 26th June 2009, Cllr Stephen Purcell, Leader of Glasgow City Council officially opened the restored Blairtummock House.

Over 100 invited guests were entertained with summertime music from a group of young musicians inside a marquee on the lawn. In his presentation, Ronnie Saez, Chief Executive of Glasgow East Regeneration Agency paid tribute to the lifelong efforts of local Councillor James Coleman, and dedicated the new Centre to him, in recognition. Cllr Purcell echoed these sentiments as he drew aside the curtain to reveal a commemorative plaque.
