Visiting
General Public
Passers-by can see some information about the house on the exterior interpretation stone plinth, but to fit in with office and conference use of the building, visits to Blairtummock House require to be pre-arranged. Please make contact with us well in advance of any intended visit.
It is expected that Blairummock House will be a regular participant in Glasgow's "Doors Open Day", usually the third weekend in September, when the public areas of the building will be open to all.
Schools
Local schools might wish to incorporate Blairtummock House into local history projects.
Detailed information on the history of the house is available both from SCRAN, which has a monthly newsletter, and from this website, giving intellectual access even for those who are not able or do not wish to visit the building itself. SCRAN’s inhouse education officers can provide teacher’s packs which present the history of the house in an accessible and relevant form.
